Who We Are

Redemption Found In Jesus Christ

Redemption Found In Jesus Christ

Redemption Found In Jesus Christ

At The Village Protestant Church, we are about REDEMPTION!  Jesus Christ is Alive Today and desires to meet us at our point of need and redeem us. We worship God in Spirit and in Truth and see Jesus Christ as our Lord and Redeemer.

“...and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

Prayer

Redemption Found In Jesus Christ

Redemption Found In Jesus Christ

We connect to God through sincere prayer and each week we pray for the concerns of this world and for each other in our times of worship. We offer faithful prayer for those  facing the challenges of everyday life. Each week we pray the Lord's Prayer together.   “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

Preaching

Redemption Found In Jesus Christ

Hymns of Worship

At The Village Protestant Church, we preach from the Bible, God's Word. The Old and New Testaments speak to us today and give us light for the path and encouragement for the journey ahead. A Sermon Series on The Sermon on the Mount is our most recent.  “Day after day... they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.”

Hymns of Worship

Redemption Found In Jesus Christ

Hymns of Worship

The Church enjoys singing the old hymns directly from the hymn books that connect us to the history of the life of the Christian church. The music is heartfelt and led by our passionate choir that bring us into the presence of our Savior.

“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!”

Central Union Mission

Our Daily Bread Devotional Delivered

Albania Girls Safe Home

The Central Union Mission has been on the forefront of meeting the needs of the poor and homeless in the nation's capitol. They do this by feeding both the body and the soul. With a message of hope and redemption they provide food for the hungry.

Albania Girls Safe Home

Our Daily Bread Devotional Delivered

Albania Girls Safe Home

We were made aware of a great need for financial support for an Albania Girl's Safe Home that has taken up a group of 10 young girls that had been rescued from abuse and human trafficking.  These girls now have a school, home, and a godly mentor.

Just as the body needs healthy nourishment, so does the spiritual life. Our Daily Bread Ministries produces a scripture reading for each day. Members of our church personally  deliver these to residents of Riderwood to "feed" them with God's Word.
